11 Things.

Chrissy from A Lil’ Dash of Diva tagged me to fill this out. I’ve seen them around and was actually really excited to finally get tagged. 🙂

THE RULES
one Post these rules.
two Post a photo and the eleven random things.
three Answer the questions provided by the one who tagged you.
four Create eleven new questions for the people you tag.
five Go to their blog (or Facebook or Twitter) and tell them they’ve been tagged.

Random things about me:

  1. I have 5 tattoos; the photo above was during the last and biggest and only colored tattoo I have.
  2. I will sleep all day long if I had absolutely nothing to do.
  3. I have lots of art all over my house. I guess it’s my way of respecting those with talents I wish I had.
  4. I love music. I have an external hard drive where I keep tons of illegally downloaded files. *gasp*
  5. I would rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable. Somewhere in between would be nice, but this is reality.
  6. My cat, Bamboo, actually belongs to my husband. When we part ways in May I won’t see Bamboo anymore and this makes me sad.
  7. I am trading my massage skills for professional family photos done this Spring. It’s cool how an hour massage is worth like $70. So useful. 🙂
  8. I’ll graduate in May with my AA, only 5 years later than everyone else. -.-
  9. I’m probably going to continue my education in public health. I’m not really sure though.
  10. I sold my wedding dress last week and am extremely happy about getting rid of it.
  11. I stress out if I think too long about one specific decision I have to make.

These are the questions Chrissy asked:

1. What is your favorite TV show? I don’t actually have cable, but I watch Ringer online. We also download Dexter and Breaking Bad once the season is over and have mini-marathons to watch it in full.
2. What was your first job? My first payroll job was as a cashier at Winn Dixie. I got fired for selling alcohol to a “stinger.”
3. If you could spend the day with one celebrity, who would it be and what would you do? Charlize Theron, because she’s a boss at everything. I’m not sure what we would do, but picnics and beaches are always fun.
4. What do you think has been the greatest invention from our generation? Greatest invention..? The Hello Kitty toaster maybe?
5. Did you go to college and if so, where did you go? I am still working on my college education. I will be graduating from Valencia in May and then probably look into USF for a Bachelors. I have called them and the lady said I could get an AA in nursing (R.N.) and then do their Associate’s to Master’s program, completely skipping the B.S. (See what I did there?) I don’t know if I want to pursue CNM right away, or if I should go into public health as a speedy way to start a career.  It’s all so confusing.
6. What is your favorite form of exercise? Sex. Muahahaha. Running is fun too though. I saw an infomercial the other night on the Brazil Butt Lift and I’m very interested because they say they can slim down stubborn hips. If you know me at all you know that I’m desperately trying to embrace my pear-shaped body.
7. What is your beauty routine? I’ve been contemplating making a post about this actually. There’s a running joke amongst my friends that I’m not a real girl. Not like is a rude way, it’s a joke that happened when I was talking about how I didn’t like shaving my legs, putting product in my hair, or spending time doing hair and make-up everyday. Even though I still hate most of those things, I’ve learned to deal with these standards society puts on women. I shave my legs for dresses and skirts. I use 3-Minute Miracle for in the shower, and then Biosilk in damp hair. I sometimes straighten my bangs away from my face, but mostly just clip them out of the way. And as most of you know I do my nails twice a week. I’m making progress on the girl stuff… shaving the pits and applying make-up is reserved for very fancy occasions. Sorry to let you down!
8. Which blog post of yours has gotten the most hits and did it surprise you? My Pinterest posts get the most hits. I have no idea why… they are like the least personal posts on my blog.
10. Do you have any secret talents? Secret talents? No. I used to be really flexible, but that has since long gone. I am a pretty good problem-solver as long as it isn’t my problem.
11. What advice would you give to someone just starting a blog? Never give up, never surrender!

Eleven questions for you:
1. What is your favorite comfort food?
2. What was your high school mascot?
3. What music are you really diggin’ today?
4. What’s your astrological sign?
5. Do you write and receive lots of snail mail?
6. Do you plan your posts or write on a whim?
7. How do you start your day in the mornings?
8. When is your golden birthday? Do you have plans or how did you celebrate it?
9. When was your last family trip?
10. Do you have pets?
11. Any plans for St. Patrick’s Day?

  1. Hi, I’m visiting from iBlog4me “Critique my blog.” You have a great blog going on here!! I love your header and links across the top, I’m having trouble finding things you should change!! You have a lot of buttons on the sidebar, you could consider creating a new post filled with all the websites you follow/participate in and creating a link to it across the top of your blog instead, just to clean up the sidebar. But it works either way. Another thing I noticed is you have lots of entries that are long blocks of text. You should consider breaking them up with photos, even just stock images or cute doodles or something, to keep readers interested. I know my eye always goes to the entries with interesting pictures to go along with the text! Keep up the great blog though & I hope my comments have helped!!
