Somebody That I Used to Know

I love this song, but I admit it’s outplayed. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, press play:

“Shary, if it’s outplayed why are you sharing it here?” I’ll tell you. Because I saw this image and it made me literally laugh out loud…

If you need something a little less circulated, the girl from that Gotye song, Kimbra, did this fabulous number that released around the same time but got buried in the “Somebody That I Used to Know” hype. I love the beat on this song, “Settle Down.” Makes me wanna dance!

What are you dancing to today?

  1. Hmmm, now this is interesting. I didn’t know who Kimbra was until now. I stumbled upon some of her music today and was wondering if she had just come onto the music scene. I guess not. lol. Thanks for linking up with us today!

  2. I like this song for the same reason so many others do; it is a pretty good song but the artistic value of the video is awesome and sexy as well.

  5. Alright both new to me, but too cool. Thanks for linky up with us today and anytime you would like to know what the theme is for the week it’s in my side bar! So not a problem loved your choices. Thanks for sharing, and hope you’re looking forward to our 100th week celebration for 4M’s followers only. All others will not be considered. 6. I have been playing that first song to death, too! Love it! The second one was new to me, but definitely had me dancing in my seat! 🙂 Thanks so much for playing along! 🙂

  7. I love Somebody that I Used to Know, but that video for it totally freaks me out. I love the one where the 5 musicians are all playing the one guitar. That one is awesome.
I like the second one a little, too, but not as much as the first one.
Thanks for playing along, hope your week has been great.
