Firsts

First thing you do when you wake up in the morning:
Pee and brush my teeth. Yes, simultaneously.

First thing you reach for when you open the fridge:
Generally water. If I’m going for a snack I always have apples.

First thing you do when you get to the gym:
Wonder why I’m there? This mama doesn’t work out.

First thing you do when you get home from work:
I’m always home. Whether or not I work is up for debate.

First car:
My first car was a black Kia Sephia. I loved that car and as I was young and crazy I actually had the entire inside covered in sharpie doodles. Everyone wrote on my interior. In fact, it was a requirement that if you rode you drew me a picture. I totaled it in 2007 and I cried over losing such precious memories.

First accident:
Fender bender or serious accident? My first serious accident was the one in which I totaled my car (above). My first fender bender I hit a stop sign coming home from McDonalds. It was dumb, I was playing with my radio.

First thing you wanted to be when you grew up:
A veterinarian.

First choice beverage:
Mountain Dew. I know, I’m horrible.

First choice breakfast:
Country fried steak with eggs over medium and hashbrowns. Or… ground sausage mixed with friend potatoes and scrambled eggs. I also enjoy muffins.

First choice dessert:
Cheesecake. Chocolate raspberry to be specific.

First song that comes to mind:
I’m currently jammin’ to Thrift Shop by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. (Some choice language, consider saving for after the kiddies go to bed.)

First major purchase:
A car doesn’t count? A $200 drum set in high school. No I’m not a drummer, I only wish it worked out.

First job:
I was a cashier at Winn-Dixie before I got fired for selling alcohol to a minor. That was my first payroll job. My first job was an under-the-table busser at a restaurant my mother worked at.

First time you flew on a plane:
Gaia was 4 months old and we were flying back to Florida when her father graduated college with his first Bachelor’s.

I saw firsts on Casey’s blog and was inspired. What are your firsts?
