I keep asking Hutch to do adorable belly painting (he’s a pretty good artist when he wants to be), but he’s been slacking all day and I really want to post this. So you get a crappy webcam photo. Horrah!
I totally need to paint my nails, or at least take off my Christmas polish completely. I am such a slacker in the nail department. I’m waiting for that nesting thing to kick in so I can actually find the motivation to do all these things. The baby is head down and super low already. He’s totally messing with my pelvis and I hurt so bad it’s hard to move around and do fun stuff. Gaia and I are lazing ont he couch right now watching Bobby’s World on Netflix.
Here’s my update from this week’s appointment:
How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain/measurements: Total gain is 33 pounds
Sleep: Sleep is hard. I wake up every few hours when I feel the need to switch positions and because my pelvis is breaking (not literally, of course) it’s very painful to move around, especially when lying down.
Maternity clothes: Yeah.
Stretch marks? No new ones, but I’m itchy and it scares me.
Best moment this week: Watching my belly wiggle. 🙂
Miss anything? My ability to breathe regularly and walk longer. Stupid pelvis.
Movement: All the time. And he’s diagonal (head down, booty under my right ribs) so they’re all weird.
Cravings?: All the donuts. And turtle chex mix.
Anything making you queasy or sick? The smell of our vacuum.
Labor signs: Nope.
Symptoms: My pelvis… like I still have the SI issues and now I’m getting the frontal pain associated with symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD – where relax makes the ligament that holds the front of your pelvis together loose and so it splits).
Belly button in or out? Totally out. And it freaks both Hutch and my sister out. Gaia just pokes it.
Rings on or off? I had to take off my normal ring, but Hutch bought me a new one for Christmas so all is good.
Happy or moody most of the time: Indifferent.
Baby related purchases?: Babylegs were on sale before Christmas. 🙂
Looking forward to: My baby shower, which isn’t until February… boo.
