I am currently eating breakfast my made: eggs and bacon. I’m on a dairy-free diet now since Monday (but not eggs, I’ll explain later) to see if I can help relieve some of Anders’s gas issues. I bought all kinds of dairy-free and vegan stuff at the store Tuesday. So far I’m a huge fan of Tofutti sour cream and So Delicious coconut ice cream. Truly delicious (and I honestly might not ever go back on those tow).

I am currently drinking coffee (with Silk vanilla creamer), but I’ve been drinking probably twice as much water as normal if not more. Breastfeeding takes a lot out of you, let me tell you. It’s like as soon as he starts I get instant cotton mouth… as if all the moisture is being sucked out of my body via my breasts.

I am currently wishing that my daughter would listen to me again. Gaia has been quite the little brat lately. I know there’s a stage of regression or whatever after a new baby is born, but this started right after Christmas and just got worse and worse and now it’s to the point where I am threatening physical punishment at least three times a day. That child is going to live in her room if she doesn’t stop making my life difficult.

I am currently loving mornings with both my babies though. Gaia will come in and snuggle us with one of her rare sweet moments. For a while there it’s just me, my daughter, and my son and we’re all half-awake and soaking up each other in the most blissful form of comfort. Family beds rock, ya’ll.

I am currently dreaming of our new apartment. We’re moving sometime next month and I can not wait to be done with this complex we’re in now. Our new place is nice. I just hope the apartment they have reserved for us isn’t on the third floor. šŸ™‚

And just for fun, here’s a Moby baby:

He always stares at me during grocery shopping trips. It’s like my favorite bonding time with him. He’s so calm and peaceful and then he eventually passes out. Love love love…

  1. Oh my gosh, I remember the “dying of thirst like I’ve been in the Sahara for five days” things when I was breastfeeding. It was awful!!

    Yay for a new place!!

  2. He’s sweet! Girls are independent and can be head strong..I know the feeling, but when they want so very very sweet. I’m sure a lot of this is just a phase. Once you get moved and settled in it will help šŸ™‚
