Yesterday we were gone nearly all day celebrating the marriage of my soon to be brother-in-law and his long-time girlfriend. They decided to do a courthouse wedding and spend the extra cash on a reception party. It was a splendid idea and a total blast. Combined they have three lovely daughters and with the added children of other visiting families there was lots of laughter and games. Anders got to sit in the adult room with us and get passed around. He was very happy most of the time and told everyone about how wonderful his life is. Daddy got to nerd out over nifty gadgets and gawk at pictures of fast cars, and Mommy got to drink enough alcohol in one sitting so she wound up with quite the productive buzz. Everyone had their share of delicious food and the happy couple got to leave by themselves to enjoy a quite evening with only each other to worry about. It was awesome.
I was so excited to enjoy myself I forgot to tell my fabulous readers about the launch of Breastfeeding Place! Breastfeeding Place is a website devoted to supporting and encouraging mothers on their breastfeeding journey. I am one of many bloggers contributing to the content of Breastfeeding Place and I would love for you to pop on over and see what’s going on. There’s lots of content up already and we’re only going to be growing from here!
This month I’ve written a little about nursing in public and dietary issues in breastfeeding mothers. Make sure you subscribe to the email updates and follow along on Facebook and Twitter to never miss a beat!
