Honor the Earth {Giveaway Hop}

honor-the-earth-button Welcome to the Honor the Earth Giveaway Hop, hosted by Happy Mothering, Easy Green Mom and Brittleby’s Corner through the Green Moms Network! Each of the participating blogs is offering a prize package to help you Honor the Earth for Earth Day! While Earth Day comes just once a year, we want to give you ideas on how you can care for the environment every day.

One of the easiest ways, in my opinion, to honor the Earth is to cut back on disposable products I use in my home. As a woman this includes switching out my feminine products for a safer, ecofriendly alternative. I personally use a menstrual cup, but I’ve recently began crafting cloth pads for those of you who may not be ready for that kind of commitment.

My cloth pad basic starter pack includes three pads lined on either side with flannel (oh so soft for your lady bits) and include an inner microfiber layer for absorbency. I chose to keep the waterproof layer off to maximize breath-ability, but each set of three includes a waterproof doubler for heavier days.

pad giveaway

The winner of my giveaway will include one set of three pads, the coordinating doubler, and a wetbag in the colors or theme of the winner’s choosing. This giveaway ends on April 22, 2014 at 11:59 pm EST. It is open to residents of the US only. You must have a valid email address to claim prize. To enter. use the Giveaway Tools form below.

Good luck!

This event has ended. Thank you to everyone who has entered!

Be sure to enter the grand prize giveaway! One winner will receive a BAD Blankie from Nest Bedding, 3 books from Little Pickle Press and a set of DVDs from NCircle – that’s a $156 value! A second winner will receive a Toter Composter and a $50 gift card – that’s a $279 value! Enter here.
