Fairhaven Health – Nursing Time Tea {Review}

Whether you’re a new nursing mom looking to add more beneficial beverages to your daily nutritional intake or struggling with supply, Nursing Time Tea by Fairvhaven Health is a delicious addition to your diet. Fairhaven Health keeps families in mind when creating their products. Nursing Time Tea goes along with that mindset of encouraging a healthy and nutritious diet.

I first felt the support from Fairhaven Health at the beginning of my breastfeeding relationship when I was trying to incorporate regular pumping sessions into my routine. With the aid of their fabulous Nursing Blend supplement, I was able to boost my supply and keep my son drinking my milk each and every time I had to leave him with another care giver. I’ve never struggled with supply for my baby or my pump since incorporating Nursing Blend into my life.

Now that he’s older, we’re more casual about the whole thing. Just over one, my son still gets about 75% of his nutrition from breast milk, But feedings are more spread out, and if I leave him with a caregiver it’s with nutritious foods and a sippy cup of his preferred non-dairy beverage.

But since we’re rarely separated for too long and I still breastfeed him several times a day, I like to keep my breast milk on the healthier side. Sipping on Nursing Time Tea gives me that peace of mind I’m searching for.

From the Fairhaven Health website:

Nursing Time Tea brings together a select array of safe and proven ingredients to aid nursing in three key way: enhancing the quantity and quality of available milk; alleviating digestive complaints, including gas, indigestion and colic; and providing a rich spectrum of nutritive vitamins and minerals central to robust and healthy nursing.

Ingredients include everything you would expect from a tea meant for breastfeeding health including fennel seed, goat’s rue, blessed thistle, and alfalfa and includes anise seed to help with gas and colic. All of this is combined with a delicious lemon  verbena to make the tea more flavorful.

Don’t mind my messy hair, I just got done playing outside in the heat! Then I settled down for a cup of delicious tea in my window. Other nursing teas tend to be overly strong and licorice tasting, but with Nursing Time Tea by Fairhaven Health the flavors combine perfectly (and sweetened with local honey, strictly by preference).

Note: Fairhaven Health recently took over My Milkies, who is also one of the sponsors of the Bring on the Baby giveaway event in May. I would like to point out that the Milk-Saver literally saved my supply when I accidentally melted my pump parts. Basically, if you need any help regarding fertility, pregnancy wellness, or breastfeeding support Fairhaven Health is there for you!

Disclaimer: I received one or more products listed int his post free of charge in exchange for a review. All stories and opinions are 100% my own. I shall not tell lies!

  1. I used fenugreek when I was breastfeeding. It really did help my milk. I also used Mother’s MIlk Tea. I think the fenugreek was the most beneficial, but it makes your armpits smell like it. This tea you posted about sounds great. What a nice relaxing drink and that helps you relax, which helps milk production. Great idea!

  2. I love all of the amazing products to help with breastfeeding like this that I have come across since I started blogging as well. My nursing relationship with my daughter did not last long at all, and I am bound and determined for things to be different with our next baby! I know so much more about bfing in general now and know about awesome products like this tea just in case too!

  3. I don’t have any babies to nurse anymore, but I wish I had used stuff like this when I was!
