We’re big mail people here. If you cloth diaper or babywear then you know that “fluff mail” feeling… I try to get that feeling every day by connecting through snail mail. I know my mail carrier by name. It also goes worth noting that my dad has worked for the USPS for almost 30 years! Even though we live in an instant gratification world full of awesome technology for communicating, nothing feels better than coming home to a pile of letters and packages. I often share my Loot Crate each month with my family when appropriate, but I recently branched out to try and include my kids in that excitement of getting something just for them.
When it comes to smaller children, Bluum box has a subscription service to meet the needs and desires as your child grows. We were given a box for Anders’s 15-month mark to celebrate his developing milestones. He was quite excited to have a whole package just for him!
We had just came in from out of the hot hot sun so the first step was to get hydrated, of course. Then I busted the seal and let Anders explore.
Each monthly Bluum box has a handful of items that are age appropriate and fun to share and explore with your child. Our 15-month box included Baby Banz, a sun hat (which is better than the one I spent $12 on earlier this summer), a tiny organic sheep finger puppet, and a wooden fish toy, and a generous coupon for Luca & Company. (Luca & Company is a a fun site with innovative, natural products for kids of all ages.)
This box definitely set the stage for summer in our home! Bluum box is $29 a month with an optional $5.95 express shipping. Like most subscription services you can choose a one, three, or six month service and cancel or re-schedule anytime. Bluum box currently is suitable for children up to 5 years old.
