I love mail. If you know me at all you’ve heard that a thousand times by now, I’m sure. I find myself constantly on the fence about this new technological age because not many people take advantage of snail mail anymore. When it comes to special occasions I like to send people a little something extra in the mail. Even if they’re local to me, I like to send them that card that says “Happy housewarming!” or “Happy anniversary!” It’s just my way of communicating their importance to me and a little reminder that life is awesome.
As a mother, kids’ birthdays are not even allowed to go unnoticed. I wouldn’t have it any other way, of course. I like to throw in little surprises throughout the day. Since my daughter has a December birthday right in the middle of all the holiday festivities, I have to try extra-hard to get her feeling extra-special. We get plenty of cards throughout the mail from relatives, but I like to have one card and gift of my own to give her as soon as she wakes up. With Hallmark #kidscards, you can make birthdays that much more enjoyable with a fantastic fold out poster card!
These greeting cards are packed full of energy and excitement. I inherited a whole collection of cards from my Omi when she passed and I’ve been adding to it for a few years. When something is to be celebrated, I can sift though and find the perfect note card to include in my gift giving. These Hallmark cards really update my collection by adding a little awesome to the birthday section.
The poster cards are pretty thick, but each greeting is unique to the hero or theme on the front. I chose this awesome Hiccup card from “Hw to Train your Dragon” and inside it’s so energetic and fun! It adds the perfect amount of encouragement to the birthday celebration we have coming up in December.
And what’s awesome about it is that it has a dual purpose. Too often cards are just left collecting dust, or worse… thrown out. Not Hallmark poster cards. This full-size poster is great for a kid’s bedroom door! Anything that gives me less guilt about trash is a thumbs up in my book.
There are so many different heroes and themes to choose from for that special child in your life. You can find these awesome cards right at your local WalMart. I grabbed a few for friends’ birthdays throughout the winter season. Less shopping in the crowds for us! And don’t forget, if you sign up for Hallmark Card Reward Program you can get bonus offers directly from Hallmark.
