[Almost] Wordless Wednesday

Hutch upgraded to an iPhone 4 today. One of the first photos is this little gem captured on the camera. Anders used to happy most of his awake time, but I admit it's a rarity these days. He has some tummy issues we're sorting through (I am not looking forward to cutting out dairy - please let it be something not dairy!) so he's fussy a lot of the time. I feel bad sometimes because you can tell he's so uncomfortable. It breaks my heart to have him cry and not be able to do anything about it. :( Right now we're doing a probiotic (I'm on day 3 of pumping - how exciting!) and we're off to the chiropractor in an hour or so. I'm hoping for a … [Read more...]

I've always been a fan of the family bed. I never purchased a crib, you know. Gaia has always slept next to me as a baby. It wasn't until she was 3 that I transitioned her to her own bed. She slept in my room in a twin for 6 months, then I moved her into her room. She comes in and snuggles every morning and when we wake up everyone is happy. I love waking up to all my sleepy babies. Forgive the unmade bed. We did just wake up, but even so it doesn't get made. They say if you make your bed your room feels clean. Well, my room is clean except for the bed and I feel just fine. Thank you. Beds should be able to just climb in at any moment and … [Read more...]

Last week we went to the beach with Miss Jalina and her mama. We flew kites and built sand castles. Mamas drank beer. Babies ate watermelon. It was overcast and rained a bit, but it was fabulous. … [Read more...]

I'm so excited to have this photo! I keep talking about how adorable Tonks is with her coloring, and now that she doesn't run every time you get within 3 feet I can actually show you! Hutch was photographing my lecture to Miss Gaia... We need a bakery so Gaia can be our adorable mascot. Balloon animal from Chili's? Pikachu, I choose you!   … [Read more...]

We went to this magnificent park last weekend. It's adorable and of course it's hidden from the main road. We just barely spotted it between some trees on the river next to our complex. It's a fabulous park and one of the nicest I've seen ever. It's a memorial, but for whom I can't tell you. There are names on everything, but I don't know if it's specific to a certain cause. Here's the non-park memorial in the back. I'm sad this turned out fuzzy. I didn't notice when I took the photo. "Angel of Life - Our children loved, remembered, and missed." The floor is covered in names of loved ones lost. This adorable … [Read more...]

I don't even know what's going on here... These are some glass animals I inherited from my grandmother. I need to doctor the display case so some of them can fit properly. My baby girl and her baby kitten. <3 Gray and pink zebra nails for the first half of the week. :) I won some stickers from Print Runner and I turned them into address labels. They're adorable, right? … [Read more...]

First time using the tripod. I am gross from rearranging stuff. Shhh. The hand made labels for the lactation cookie giveaway. Kitties! Failed photo sesh with my nails. Thought it was coolish looking. Now yours for WW. My mailboxes have no distinctive marks. I now have a sticker on mine. :)   … [Read more...]

Can you tell I edited their eyeballs? Stupid red glare ruining my precious kitties. Seriously. They don't have names yet, but the orange one is a boy and the tortoise shell kitty is a girl. She's feisty, let me tell you. I just want to cuddle her all day every day, but she's still mad at me for taking her away from the wild. I gave them baths yesterday and soon I'll take them to the vet. They have some fleas, some worms, and dirty ears. These are all things I've dealt with before when rescuing feral kittens. No worries. Just cuteness. Honestly these are the most scared rescue cats I've ever had, so the domestication process is a tough one. … [Read more...]

The view from my desk. My little office/craft area has turned into "where we put the boxes." This is how I feel. It's like a gasp but with more anxiety involved. … [Read more...]
