The Last Thing I Made [in January]

I started off the year with tons of crafty goals, but ever since I completed the project below I've been hit with a kind of slump. This is bad because this year I wanted to focus more on my crafts. I wanted to restock my shop with premade items and work towards participating in a craft fair this fall. I've sense found myself in a slump, which isn't uncommon. Hand Foot Mouth: Natural Cures and Remedies

Where have I been, you say? Oh, just dealing with normal holiday hustle, work, and... DUN DUN DUN! Our home has been struck with the nasty hand, foot, mouth disease. Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a viral infection that starts with a fever, then turns into a rash. The effects vary, but it's generally a children's illness. Though when the adults get it it can be either really mild or really terrible. I got the former; My husband the later. Poor guy. My son got a mild fever a few days before Christmas. Why Does My Oven Hate Me?

I am rather angry with my oven. Around the holidays I was having problems baking my cookies. They weren't cooking all the way through. To give you an idea, my Nutella cookies normally take 11 minutes (9 after the pan gets hot) at 350. When I was doing holiday baking, I had to watch them like a hawk, sometimes for 20 minutes, only to have the edges burnt and the center slightly gooey. I let them completely cool and sent them anyway, but I was not a happy girl. I assumed it was because I used tub butter, but then there was today...
