Thanks for my #SparkleVoxBox!

I received my Sparkle VoxBox weeks before Halloween, and I thought it only came with three products. I thought I would use the lashes for my costume, but I was so tired from a crazy day at work that I barely put any effort into that evening. I'm grateful that I had some Numi Tea to relax. Our favorite product from this "three-item box" was the Garnier Sulfate Free Cleanser. Believe it or not, my 9-year-old (10 in 3 weeks... what?!) is suffering from acne. It started very recently, but she's already come home crying because some jerk (a dumb boy) is making fun of her. We tried two cleansers so far and no results. With Garnier's new face … [Read more...]

Perfect Sweet Tea Time!

I have an ice tea maker. It's cheating, I know. But I also make a damn good sun tea when the days are hot, so don't judge me. :) Here's a stock photo of delicious iced tea: I don't like lemon in my tea, but I do love me some mint. In fact this photo has inspired me to have a mint plant as my first plant in my patio garden (soon to come). I wanted some rosemary and some lavender soon anyway. My recipe for a delicious 3 quart pitcher of iced tea: 2 quart bags of Lipton iced tea (regular) 3 individual bags of green tea 1 individual bag of Chamomile tea approximately 1 cup of sugar (I honestly eye-ball my sugar) Brew tea bags in hot water. … [Read more...]

Tea Time

It has come to the point where I am living out of boxes. I don't have any of my craft stuff out anymore. I don't feel that horrible about it because I've got some awesome tutorials for you next week as part of my moving guest post extravaganza. Oh yeah, next week is going to be fun! Instead I am going to share with you a secret. I love tea. The fact that I love tea is no secret. I have a whole giant box just for my tea to be packed away in. And although I'm frugal, I am kind of serious about my tea. I have tons of lose leaf tea in the bottom of the box, but I admit I haven't drank any of that for a while as I lost my tea ball. … [Read more...]
